It is run by Frederic Huyssen from France. He first came Korea to study at KAIST, but later opened a brewery after discovering his interest in beer. After more than a decade of experience at Weizen Haus and Hand & Malt, he himself designed the brewery. The Ranch Brewing focuses on brewing dry and clear beer. Its best-selling beer is Hip Jiro Brut IPA with 5.9% ABV. It has a citrusy lemon aroma and dryness just like champagne. Big Field IPA, which is a literal translation of Daejeon in English, is also a popular beer.
